High Speed Buffers
High speed buffers, or burnishers as they are often called, serve the purpose of restoring the gloss to a floor that has floor finish applied to it. They come in different rpm's that range from 1200 to over 3000. Typically, the most common rpm's range from 1500 to 2000. There are three different types of high speed burnishers. The 2510 model from Tennant company is a 20” battery powered self propelled burnisher. The 2510 operates with 2000 rpm at the brush head, and comes with a cloth and paper bag for dust control. The machine ships with a on board charger.
Castex 20" High Speed - 9002792
This 20” Castex high speed buffer is rated at 1600 rpm. It has a 1.5 horsepower brush motor, and is made of 100% rotationally molded polyethelene. It has a flexible attached pad driver, and a 75 ft power cord.
